Silver Cliff Mayor Pro-Tem, H.A. “Buck” Wenzel announces his bid for Mayor this April

Silver Cliff, CO—Having served as Silver Cliff Trustee for the first two years, and Mayor Pro-Tem since, Buck Wenzel has announced his desire to seek his first term as Mayor for the town.

“It will be my honor to serve our Town, our staff, and citizens, always remembering not to jeopardize our history and values,” stated Wenzel.

Wenzel lives his life according to the following values: honesty, transparency, and the Golden Rule.  His background in law enforcement, as a small business owner, and public servant, have taught Wenzel the value of good communication and the importance in setting goals and seeing them to fruition.

Mayor Pro-Tem Wenzel has served 40 years in law enforcement, 15 years as a small business owner, and eight years as Deputy Coroner for Custer County. He also served our country in the U.S. Air Force.

Silver Cliff, the Town staff, and his fellow citizens are of the utmost importance to Wenzel.  As your Mayor Pro-Tem, he has fought to keep our heritage and small town values front and center and he will continue to do so as your Mayor.  “I look forward to the future and facing challenges with optimism, and promise to be a good listener, resolve issues in a timely fashion, and continue to fight for our town, and be results-driven, I’m ready!”
