Bobcats update: Mid January Games

Bobcat Girls Varsity
On Friday, January 18th, the High School Lady Bobcats played against Florence at home.
The Varsity Girls played hard, but lost to Florence 39-20. The high scorer of the game was Lindsey Gillmore with six points. Emma Aldrich brought six points, Memphis Curry added five, Brittany Benoit two, and Hailey Hunter with two points.
JV Girls Basketball
The JV Girls played a good game with a win of 17-14. Scoring the most points of the game was Morgan Foster with 9. Kaya Huffman put up five points, added by Katie Wilkinson with two, and Delaney Downing with one point.
Middle School Girls Basketball
On Friday, January 18th, the Middle School Girls Basketball teams played against Cripple Creek at home. The girls played hard with wins for both the A and B teams. For the B team, Miah Sayhouse scored the most points of the game with eight. Brooke Bomgardner and Sidney Baynes both scored four points, Kady Lafary brought three, and Lily Bomgardner scored two points. For the A team, it was Miah Sayhouse again scoring the most points with 10. Emma Rusk and Samantha Gray both put up four points, and Brooke Bomgardner brought two points to the game. The middle school girls play Cotopaxi at home, Friday, January 25th.
Bobcat Boys
Coach update: The Boys Basketball home games were canceled on the 18th due to weather. The Custer County Boys Basketball team traveled to Del Norte on Saturday and lost to Del Norte 58-20. William Berry lead the team in scoring with eight points and rebounds with seven. Patrick Post added seven points and had three steals. “Very cold night shooting for the Bobcats, 18 percent.” said Coach Eric Prins.
The Boys JV team lost 51-8. Pierson Dunham scored five points and had six rebounds. Casey Sargent added three points. Jake Lafray added five rebounds.
