The Class of 2019 wrapped up graduation weekend by receiving their diplomas on Sunday at the Custer County East Gym. The Class of 2019 includes students headed for the military, workforce, and on to two and four year colleges.

 

 

CCHS students will be receiving over $300,000 in grants and scholarships for their post-secondary studies. Tyler Ferron,
Valedictorian and Holly Wenger, Salutatorian, will be attending North Dakota State University and College College. Miss Wenger was awarded the Daniels Scholarship which is a last-dollar scholarship that covers all costs of attending Colorado College and includes numerous leadership opportunities and training.
Miss Wenger also received the Greenhouse Scholarship that recognizes students who make a difference in their communities and an honorary Wet Mountain Valley Rotary Scholarship. Ferron received numerous local awards including the first annual Dark Skies STEM Scholarship which is a 4-year, $5,000 scholarship.
