December 1st Truth and Justice Rally in Grand Junction

Carolyn and I attended the Truth and Justice Rally in Grand Junction on Wednesday, December 1st. The purpose of the rally was to show support for Mesa County Clerk, Tina Peters, in her voting integrity battle with Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold. While it is difficult to estimate the size of the turnout, since people were dispersed around the front lawn of the old Mesa County Courthouse, I will say that about 200 – 300 people showed up.
Several rally speakers related their opinions on election integrity, described events in Mesa County and gave updates on reactions and responses to what occurred. Speakers included: Tina Peters, Sherronna Bishop, Ron Hanks and others.
Unless you have been living in a cave or haven’t paid attention to recent news (who could blame you), you know that multiple “law enforcement” agencies RAIDED several homes in the Mesa County area, ostensibly to seize “illegal” documents related to the 2020 election. Participating agencies included the FBI (lead agency), staff from 21st Judicial District Attorney Dan Rubenstein’s office, and the Colorado Attorney General’s office.
I am reluctant to get too deep into the “weeds”, but a few facts are critical to understanding what is going on here. Dominion voting machines are in 61 of 64 counties in Colorado. According to Griswold these machines require periodic updates, called “trusted builds.” Such builds were conducted after the 2020 election by teams of Griswold staff and Dominion employees. According to Peters, these “builds” altered vital election data on the hard drives – data that by law had to be preserved.
Speaking at the rally, Tina Peters, Mesa County Clerk, stated that she knows the law regarding preservation of election records and data. She detailed how the actions of Griswold prompted her (and associates) to open Mesa County’s Dominion voting machines and make copies of the hard drive containing 2020 voting record files before and after the machines underwent the so-called “trusted build” mandated by Griswold.
Griswold alleges that Peters and her deputy engaged in an election security breach when they allowed an unauthorized person (a consultant with cyber credentials) to participate in the “routine update” (the “trusted build”) of the county voting machines and software and then allegedly lied about it as part of a scheme to expose alleged election irregularities.
It is these hard drive copies that the “raids” sought to retrieve. Peters, along with her supporters, identified discrepancies between the “before build” and “after build,” files leading Peters to cry foul. At the rally Peters asserted that she will continue to fight
for election integrity and accused Griswold of not following laws related to preserving election records.
Sherronna Bishop, a resident of Garfield County and formerly associated with Lauren Boebert, came to the attention of Griswold when she spoke up in support of Peters (do your best to keep
the players straight). Apparently, for this reason alone, she was also targeted in the law enforce-
ment raids.
Speaking at the rally, Ms. Bishop described the raid – “Just as we were about to open the door, it flew open, they used a ram to bust down my door. They immediately took my phone, I had dialed my attorney and they did not allow me to speak to my attorney, they grabbed my phone from me, said I couldn’t speak to my attorney, they said they were restraining me while they did a check of my home.” Bishop inquired of the lead on-scene FBI agent – “What have I done wrong – what am I
being charged with?” According to Bishop, the agent hesitatingly responded – “It’s because you connect people!” Wrapping up her rally speech, Bishop pointed at the upper floor office of District Attorney Rubenstein and proclaimed “You owe me a front door!”
Folks – These are third world country tactics! The Federal government is out of control and operating way beyond any powers given to it by our Constitution. -This is pure leftist intimidation. If you speak up, you will be targeted and the commies in charge will use every weapon they have to stoke fear and silence you. These are two very courageous citizens standing up and speaking out – knowing that they will be persecuted.
Another speaker was Ron Hanks, current 60th District State
Representative (includes Custer County) and recently announced candidate for U.S. Senate intending to replace current Senator Michael Bennet. Hanks has invested considerable time on the 2020 election fraud issue, including
attending the recent Maricopa County, Arizona, election audit (which he claims was a total sham!). From his active engagement in these investigations, Hanks is convinced that significant fraud occurred and he will continue to gather facts and speak out on the issue. In his speech he stated that the truth will begin to see the light of day this coming spring – stay engaged and stay tuned!
For his dogged, on-scene efforts, Hanks is being vilified from multiple government and media sources. To underscore his assertions of fraud and bolster how serious he is in his desire to expose it, Hanks, along with other signatories, has recently filed a lawsuit naming Griswold and claiming election fraud and multiple violations of Colorado law. The text of the lawsuit can be accessed at his website – hanksforcolorado.com. READ IT!!
Meaningful audits of the 2020 election should be done by cyber-qualified investigators – at least in an attempt to restore some public confidence in the process. Can we be honest? At the end of the day there is no such thing as “cyber security” – period/drop the mic! So-called experts work very hard at securing all forms of digital data, especially data on the Internet – and make millions of dollars in the process. And yet breaches happen all the time! Our own Custer County Clerk, Kelly Camper, swears up and down that our county elections are secure and honest. She is a person with great integrity and I believe her, BUT – what happens to our election data when it is transmitted to the state level? I will posit that any digital data can be tampered with – and therein lies the problem!!
Citizen trust in election integrity is the most critical tenet of democracy – and right now OUR DEMOCRACY IS FAILING!!
