Things got pretty hot, like I mean real hot, at the end of the September 8, 2021, Custer County Board of County Commissioners meeting with childlike temper tantrums, verbal assaults and of course, multiple liberal snowflake meltdowns. But, in the end, it was well worth it as patriotism won and the fascist left lost. Hooah!

The meeting started promptly at 9 a.m. with all three musketeers in attendance: Chair Bill Canda, and members Tom Flower and
Kevin Day.

During Commissioner Items, Flower says maybe the county should have a County Manager. He said he will get some job descriptions and the muskies can look at it at the next meeting. (Note: the muskies have added several new positions the last year or so. We need to see some financial responsibility here at some point.)
Braden Wilson from Finance said based on what the county auditor reported yesterday he is going to drop a few things and work on finishing the new accounting software installation as budget time is about here and the muskies are going to need a bunch of reports.
Under New Business, Debbie Adams, Chair of the Tourism Board gave an excellent report on what they did so far this year and future plans. They appear to have accomplished a great deal and have some good ideas for future projects.

The County Attorney, Clint Smith, then led the muskies in opening the bids for the lots the county is selling in Golden Valley. No issues there.

Finally, after three plus hours of routine county stuff, Canda brought up the big boy: Resolution 21-17 whose title is, “A Resolution of Custer County Colorado, a Political Subdivision of the State of Colorado, Declaring that President Joseph R. Biden Be Held Accountable to the Citizens of the United States for Treasonous Acts He Has Committed While in Office.”
First, let’s paint the picture of the musketeers’ small, gilded throne room. You have the three muskies behind their jewel encrusted desk. The peanut gallery is about six feet away from the desk, with guess who is sitting in the jump seat directly in front of the muskies? None other than the chair of the local democrat party, James
“Dr. Doom” Gilbert, who is also some kind of virologist, who if you remember, was a fixture during the County’s Board of Health meetings last year predicting that everybody in Happy Valley would die within hours if they didn’t get the WuFlu RNA shots, wear triple masks 24/7 and hide in our houses forever. (Apparently Dr. Doom was a bit wrong. Happy Valley has had a total of seven deaths and some of those are probably shaky.) Dr. Doom, was, of course, fully masked up so as not to catch any of the freedom virus bugs in the room. Waiting in the Zoom ether was Dale Mullen. Behind Dr. Doom, was Gen. Bob Hollingsworth (ret.) and former Marine, Chris Bryson. Our very own conservative in chief, Ann Barthrop, was also in the front row although far enough away from Gilbert to not catch his WuFlu rainbow vibes and progressive cooties.

Canda opens with the admission that he is the sponsor of the Resolution. (Remember he brought it up at the last BOCC meeting.) He gives a short speech basically saying that he has many friends and relatives in the military and that Biden has put them in harm’s way with his recent actions. He said he is a retired military officer and that the oath he took is still in effect and he means to live up to that oath. Canda noted that in addition to the Afghan debacle, Biden has left the southern border open and we are being literally invaded by third world people who will hurt this country badly.

Canda then reads the Resolution. (Now up until this Resolution Agenda item was brought up, The Flowers was in a pretty good mood, glad handling the guests, doing his usual good ol’ boy act. But now, he looks more than a little irritated. Like about to have a hissy fit. )
After the Resolution recital, Canda talks about how the illegals are not being tested for the WuFlu and are bringing the red plague into the country with Biden’s consent. He says he has many democrat friends who have helped him with the Resolution. It is a “health and welfare” resolution and NOT a political resolution. (Dr. Doom bows and buries his head in his hands shaking his head. He looks pretty scruffy with a wild looking white beard –white privilege?– and unruly white hair popping out of some comic book looking baseball hat. A poster boy for Critical Race Theory.)

Canda moves to discuss the Resolution and Day seconds.
Day gives a little speech saying that there wasn’t anybody who wasn’t impacted by the disaster in Afghanistan. The way things were done was totally unacceptable and the loss of weapons and equipment was real bad. He feels that the county would be well served by this resolution. (Thank you, sir.)
Flower passes on his comments time, for now. (He is a VERY unhappy muskie now as he sees Day is on board with doing something to help our country and that has lost the eventual Resolution vote. Waaaaaaaaaah!)
Canda opens up the ring to Public Comments. First on the flight deck is Chris Bryson who gives an impassioned speech concerning Baghdad Biden, the Oath of Office, and supporting the Constitution. He says Biden has abandoned the Constitution and our laws and that treason is well defined specifically mentioning that giving aid to our enemies is treason. (Good job, Marine!)

Almost literally exploding in rage, leftist Gilbert’s arms start to movin’ and the white head starts to bob’n and off he goes in his whiny, plaintive lib voice: This is a political statement arghhhhhhh! You are claiming it is all about the Constitution. The fact that you are using your political position to do this is “brazen”. (OMG!) I refuse to allow a commissioner to make their political opinions mine! Blah, blah, blah. On and on. You are out of bounds with your responsibilities. More privileged leftist outrage. Mr. Gilbert then starts to get up and storm out of the room like an unbalanced emotional four year old, but as he is stumbling towards the exit, General Hollingsworth booms out in his best command voice, “We got guys like you that don’t understand this, Jim.” (I sort of swear I almost heard the General whisper “Contact Front” to Bryson before he spoke, but not sure ‘bout that Lol.) Gilbert pivots as he nears the door, waves his hands in some primordial brain fart manner, and starts yelling at General Hollingsworth. Blah, blah, blah. (Classic speech pattern of libs who got both shots.)

The General then gives a beautiful short speech on how this President has totally failed this country and that his command team is a farce and he is harming our country big time. The military weapons we lost will be used against us and we are not going to allow these treasonous activities to our country go unpunished. (Shaking, Dr. Doom looks like he has hit his resonating progressive harmonic frequency now.)
Ann Barthop then gives a very nice speech on how Biden is making our country unsafe and that he has left a ton of Americans behind in that hell hole.

Dale Mullen then appears out of Zoom land: He said he was a Vietnam combat veteran (thank you for your service, sir) and that he is embarrassed that our Happy Valley muskies are participating in this. He said, “they know little of what they speak”. This is an ideological effort and wrong. Bryson then said a few more words in support of the Resolution.

Finally, about boiling over, Tom Flower launches his initial diatribe: What I say will get me criticized and crucified. (He always says something like that before the rants. The crucification comparison has some interesting imagery, but that’s The Flowers.) I am not military and I don’t have that military mindset. He then, loudly, goes on and on about how he doesn’t like “this President”, didn’t vote for him, and that Biden is doing a “sorry job”. He then says that this is the “wrong place” to do this. (The muskies are our elected officials. Like this might be the perfect spot to do this?) On and on he rants. Just trying to be honest. I don’t know if we have the authority to do this. I am NOT going to support this. This is the wrong place to support this. (As the fake indignity level rises to quantum levels.) Then more blah, blah, blah.

Canda somehow gets to speak. This is a representative republic, and our laws are not passed by all the people. I am just being a citizen here. This impacts all of us. We have passed other resolutions without unanimous authority. This is a constitutional issue.
General Bob then addresses Flower saying that this debacle is a leadership failure and not a military one. He says the senior leadership around Baghdad Biden including his civilian and military advisers and the State Department eunuchs are a disgrace. Don’t blame the soldiers, the failure is at the leadership level.
Flower then appears to blame the military saying it was “a military failure” which was rejected by General Bob who said “it was a leadership failure.”
Bryson then says to The Flowers, “You are blaming the military for the failure?”
Flower then mumbles some nonsense. Mullen Zooms in saying the 13 Americans who were blown up at the Kabul Airport were doing their job and what the muskies are doing is an embarrassment.
Flower then gets all upset and attacks Canda for doing the Resolution. (We are seriously approaching a four-year-old tantrum level here.)
In an extremely angry way, he then asks Canda what unlawful executive orders are you referring to? Canda responds with the illegal orders that Biden gave essentially opening the southern border to a horde of third world people who will hurt our country. This easily triggers Gilbert who yells at Canda about immigration. Flower then questions Canda regarding his prior comment about Biden’s phone call with the Afghan President a few months ago where Biden asked the Afghan Pres to pretend to the press that the war is doing good even though the Afghan told Biden things look darn grim. Flower wanted to know where Canda got this information. Canda explains. (Tom did not know this. This has been all over the mainstream media & press. For The Flowers to be not aware of this as a “republican” -maybe RINO is more accurate- elected official raises some flags, folks.)

Flower then questions Canda about Canda’s assertion that Biden was extremely disrespectful when the fallen American Marines and the Navy Corp man coffins were unloaded at the airport. The Flowers says all he saw was Biden and Mrs. Biden holding their hands over their hearts as the coffins were unloaded. He didn’t see any disrespect. (You gotta be kidding me. Flowers must only watch CNN or read our local Pravda newspaper. Baghdad Biden, on the video of the unloading, looks at his WATCH almost every time a coffin passes as he obviously has something more important to do. There is NO forgiving this. I have NEVER seen a president come even close to this level of disrespect for our deceased service personnel. This ALONE is enough reason to can his sorry butt.) Canda explains what really happened. Canda then says that when some of the parents of the fallen were allowed to talk to His Majesty, that Biden basically only talked about the son he lost a few years ago (nonmilitary) and appeared not to even care about their grief.
The Flowers then tells us how he is “struggling” with this. (This is a common refrain from him, “the struggle”, you know, invoking Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. imagery.) Then more blah, blah, blah. On and on and on….Canda then notes that we are the grass roots of the country and it is up to us to do something. The Flowers then says he is still “struggling” and then he says a swear word. (Bad Flowers.)
Dr. Doom then whines some more from the doorway. (At a somewhat safe distance from General Bob.) The General then makes some comments about how we have to look at the wrong things in the country and call them out.
The Flowers, who will not stop talking, says Gilbert brought a resolution to the BOCC a while back and they did not accept it. (Why? It was total left-wing dribble aimed at getting the county to say there is no voter fraud. Probably a Dem party set up to use against the county later.) More on and on. (Folks, you can’t believe how this guy can just go on and on saying the same stuff all over again.) He then threatens to go on a “little rampage”. (I’ll pay to see that.)
Some citizen in the audience says we need the muskies to do this as they have some clout that an ordinary citizen doesn’t.
The Flowers and Canda then get into another rant fest. (The Flowers seems near his breaking point but won’t stop talking.)
One Tom York (another of Custer County’s minority Dems) Zooms in and says what the muskies are doing is a “political rampage” and that this is totally political.
Finally, Canda moves to have THE VOTE. Commissioner Day seconds and Commissioner Flower agrees also.
Canda and Day vote YES and Flower votes NO. It passes. The Flowers glowers in defeat.
Flower then asks County Attorney Smith that he wants the voting results on the Resolution so people can see he voted no although he agrees to sign the Resolution that he voted against. (He could have easily just not signed it but then people can ask why didn’t The Flowers sign it? Is he unpatriotic or a Baghdad Biden lover?
You can’t make this twisted logic stuff up.)
So we got our Resolution. Canda is going to circulate it around Colorado counties.
And that was that.
